BIG SEE AWARD

BIG SEE （Big South-East Europe）AWARDの最終プレゼンテーションと授賞式のため、47カ国目となるスロベニアへ。今回は、ドバイ経由のフライトが急遽欠航となり、イタリア・ミラノからスロベニアへの大移動から旅がスタート。会場となったのは、アドリア海に面する小さな港町、ポルトローシュでした。最終プレゼンテーションではグランプリまであと一歩届かなかったものの、さまざまな国の建築家やデザイナーとの良い出会いに恵まれました。街のスケール感や海との距離感も心地よく、印象に残る滞在となりました。

We traveled to Slovenia—our 47th country—for the final presentation and award ceremony of the BIG SEE (Big South-East Europe) AWARD. Our journey began with an unexpected change of plans when our flight via Dubai was suddenly cancelled, leading to a long journey from Milan, Italy, to Slovenia. The event took place in Portorož, a small coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. Although we fell just short of the Grand Prix in the final presentation, we were fortunate to meet architects and designers from many different countries. The intimate scale of the town and its close connection to the sea made our stay in Portorož especially memorable.
